Happy Holidays from all of us at your OBGYN office. We hope that your celebrations are filled with family, friends, and lots of love. As a patient advocate I would like to take a moment to address the issue of procedures and insurance coverage. Any procedure that is due for a repeat / follow up such as colposcopy exam of the cervix, ultrasound of the ovaries or uterus may be better performed in December before the end of the year. Many of you may have considered short, out-patient like Novasure Endometrial Ablation, Essure Tubal Ligation, or Laparoscopy for pelvic pain evaluation. If you have been putting off surgery now may be the time to act! For those of you who are "workaholics" the Holidays maybe a great time for a brief recovery.
